Absolutely! You have the free will and, you are fully accountable for the choices you make in your life.
Deciding which path to take can often be challenging. However, there is usually a guiding light that helps individuals find the right direction. Often, the route people choose has already been laid out by someone else who hasn’t experienced their unique journey.
However, the outcome of that decision is the individual’s responsibility to bear.
For example, a man is advised to invest in a business that appears promising. It is his choice whether to proceed with the investment or not. His primary consideration should be whether the business will generate the income as projected. Investing his money in this venture is his decision, and he must take full responsibility for the results of his investment.
From the very beginning, God granted humanity free will to make their own choices. He provided various options for them to select from. Therefore, each person is fully accountable for the decisions they make. Deuteronomy 30:19
Because of God’s love for humanity, He has provided us with guidance. Yet, relying solely on our own understanding, we often choose what seems best to us. While this can sometimes lead to positive outcomes, what appears good to us is not always right and can bring heartache. Remember, free will is a gift, not a burden. Everyone makes mistakes—that’s part of being human. We are like children before God, often drawn to the places we are told to avoid. When you stumble, don’t lose hope. Rise up, and turn to your Creator. God knows you fully and loves you deeply. Take responsibility promptly and embrace the changes needed to grow. You shall come out stronger.
